GenII radio telemetry data logging systems
Eltek GenII monitoring systems provide data logging and alarm generation for a very wide range of applications. Systems are installed in museums, laboratories, storage and warehousing facilities, pharmaceutical, production, and domestic premises - just about any environment where accurate and reliable data is essential for monitoring, manufacturing, research or audit purposes. Now with 250 sensor capability, 125 transmitter capability, 250,000 readings and built-in standby battery. Cost-effective, even on occasions when using one transmitter and one sensor only, GenII can be expanded to meet any users requirements. License exempt UHF frequencies are used and sensors can be located almost anywhere.
RX250AL Receiver / Logger
The RX250AL Receiver logger is the heart of a GenII logging system. Because the RX250AL is responsible for receiving and storing the data, it is not necessary to have a PC permanently connected. HC16 Receiver / Logger
The Eltek HC16 receiver/logger performs both data logging and heater control. You can specify the ideal temperature for each room, depending on its function, at the time of day and the day of the week. You may adjust the temperature or the relative humidity in a particular room without any reference to any third party.
The built-in battery means data logging is not interrupted even if there is a temporary AC mains failure. Multiple HC16s can be used for wide area coverage.

WSR Wireless Sensor Receiver
TRadio connected sensors offer an unrivalled flexibility to create data gathering systems without the encumbrances of wires. Often users have invested heavily in conventional loggers or other data acquisition system. For the first time Eltek's WSR enables users to integrate wireless connected systems to their existing systems, using field proven GenII transmitters and sensors providing accurate measurement without sacrificing reliability or performance. The WSR system is now offered as a system in its own right.
-
Up to 16 sensors' values (e.g. temperature, humidity, light, voltage or current) are presented as corresponding 0-5VDC or 4-20mA outputs on the WSR receiver, allowing quick, easy and accurate connection to existing data gathering systems.
-
Uses standard license exempt frequencies
-
Long distance assured - up to 1Km depending on installation
-
Uses Eltek’s field proven and readily available series of GenII transmitters
-
Ideal for permanent or temporary applications e.g.
-
temperature mapping
-
research projects
-
difficult to wire environments

The WSR is a self-contained mains-powered receiver and output unit with built-in batteries providing 48 hours of operation in the event of a mains failure. An LCD is incorporated for real time metering of sensor values. The WSR is suitable for systems which accept 0-5VDC analogue inputs with slowly changing variables – typically measured every 10 seconds. Two models are available with either 8 or 16 inputs/outputs.
Most Eltek GenII transmitters can be used with the WSR (apart from event or pulse transmitters).

Typical System Configuration
RP250GD Repeater
The Eltek telemetry radio range can be hundreds of meters without the use of nodes requiring power. Furthermore, the range can be extended to cover large areas by strategic placement of repeaters.
The RP250GD repeater receives and rebroadcasts signals from GenII transmitters, significantly extending the distance over which a system can operate. Multiple repeaters can be used in a system.
Features:
-
Contains high performance receiver and transmitter compliant to EN 300-220.
-
LCD indicates on-air transmitter identity, status and signal strength.
-
Extends range of transmitters many-fold.
-
Multiple repeaters can be used, enabling difficult sites to be covered easily.
-
Mains powered with built-in rechargeable batteries to provide up to 48 hours standby in the event of a mains failure.
-
Free standing or wall mountable.
-
Antenna socket permits use of external antenna to improve performance in difficult conditions.
-
PC software is used to configure the repeater, download transmitter activity data and specify transmitter authorisation.
RP250GDDA Repeater
Specially designed for repeating signals through an RF barrier.
Features:
-
The RP250GDDA has all the features of the RP250GD, with the addition of 2x antenna SMA connectors; with one antenna to be placed within the barrier, and one on the far side.
-
The RP250GD repeater receives and rebroadcasts signals from GenII transmitters, significantly extending the distance over which a system can operate. Multiple repeaters can be used in a system.
-
Please note: the antenna wire will need to penetrate the RF barrier. Typically, an installation would warrant 2x LW-ANT antennae.
